Professional
Learning Network

As a way to continue my professional learning, I have constructed an annotated bibliography that acts as a mechanism for me to locate, select, and evaluate resources that will help me continue identity work, learn and understand theory, engage in ongoing professional growth, and practice culturally relevant teaching.

Why I Teach Binder

In this binder, I keep all the notes, drawings, pencils, and cards I receive from my students.

February: "I am loved and important and I believe in myself."

March: "I am worthy and unique, and I am capable of doing difficult things."

Student Affirmations

Every month, there is a new affirmation put onto the morning slides that the students look at first thing in the morning, every morning.
